REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN - (Marketwire - Aug. 1, 2008) - HTC Purenergy Inc. (TSX VENTURE:HTC) ("HTC") has signed an agreement with the EPCOR Power Development Corporation ("EPCOR"), to deliver a Process Design and Site Integration Engineering Study to look into the potential of a CO2 Capture facility on a coal-fired plant. The study will assist EPCOR in the preliminary stages of determining whether post-combustion amine based CO2 capture technology can be utilized on larger-scale coal fired power plants.
