KUWAIT CITY - The government should allocate a special area for the establishment of a residential city for the expatriate workers in cleaning companies, Chairperson of Al-Jawhara Group Mejwal Ayed Al-Dehani said in a press release Monday. Al-Dehani pointed out cleaning companies need wide plots to provide suitable and well-equipped accommodation for their workers which, he proposed, will be constructed based on the Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) system. If the government is serious in its bid to strictly enforce the rules and regulations, Al-Dehani said company owners should be given a maximum of one year to provide the technical and administrative needs, especially those with long-term contracts.
