It is learnt that Priyanka has confirmed her plans to attend the opening ceremony at the newly-constructed Beijing National Stadium, an imposing structure being described as the ‘bird’s nest’ because of its unique nest-like architecture. Sources said her mother Sonia Gandhi and brother Rahul may also attend the ceremony but their plans have not yet been finalised.
