By Dow Jones Among the companies whose shares are expected to see active trading in Wednesday's session are Garmin Ltd. (GRMN), Elan Corp. PLC (ELN) and Wyeth (WYE). Garmin Ltd. (GRMN) posted a 19% increase in second-quarter net income but the company lowered its guidance for full-year earnings. Shares fell 11.2% in premarket trading. Elan Corp. PLC (ELN) and Wyeth (WYE) presented data from the midstage trial of their experimental drug for Alzheimer's disease, but the full findings for the drug remain inconclusive and may underwhelm many scientific experts and investors. Elan plunged 31% while Wyeth dropped 14.5% in premarket trading. Viacom Inc.'s (VIA) second-quarter net income fell 6%, but the company topped Wall Street expectations as its blockbuster "Iron Man" movie and Rock Band video game drove results. Shares fell...
