Japanese passengers selected Singapore Airlines as the best airline of the year, a recent passenger satisfaction survey found, while airlines from Japan lost several places from last year. According to the annual survey about in-flight services, including the quality of their hospitality, meals and amenities, Singapore Airlines was chosen as the best airline for the overall ranking list, followed by Virgin Atlantic Airways of Britain and Emirates of the United Arab Emirates. The top three airlines also made the Top 10 lists in individual categories. "The top three airlines in the overall ranking list have many new aircraft," said Recruit Co., which conducted the survey.
