Protecting yourself from UV rays important in summer

The sun also emits UV rays which can be harmful to the skin. Did you know that excessive exposure to the ultraviolet radiation of the sun is the most important preventable cause of all skin cancers? Melanoma is the most serious form of skin cancer and according to the National Cancer Institute it is estimated that there will be 62,480 new cases in the United States as well as 8,420 deaths in 2008.
