Joe Darda / seattlepi.com With the stage set with additional lighting and a pair of mix tables with manikin legs, Chromeo arrived to chants of "Chrom-e-o-wooo-o" and immediately injected new life into the Pike Street crowd. The electro-funk duo composed of singer-guitarist Dave 1 and mix-master P-Thugg, produced a vivacious dance beat that had the whole block moving. With comical lyrics and repeated references to themselves ("we are Chromeo and we're in control"), the 45-minute set was downright fun.
