Posted on: Sunday, 27 July 2008, 00:00 CDT A Charity bike ride has raised more than pounds300 for children with autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The Angels in Disguise event was organised by 12-year-old George Goodson, whose sister is supported by the group. George's mum Maggie, secretary for the charity, said the event was 'fantastic'. "We had 27 riders taking part. Drivers and people in the street were so supportive," she said. "Some of the Angels themselves actually completed the whole five miles." George said: "It went really well and we enjoyed it. I think we'll probably have about pounds300 when it's all collected. "I'd like to organise another bike ride next year, maybe a bit further."
