Harshman named Iowa 3A Player of the Week

DES MOINES – During the 2007/2008 Iowa High School Baseball and Softball seasons, Iowa Network Services and your local Independent Telephone Companies are proud to present a “Player of the Week” from Iowa’s high school baseball and softball regular season play. Iowa Network Services “Player of the Week” winners for the week of July 21, 2008 are: SOFTBALL 4A: Courtney McKelvogue, West Des Moines Valley The senior pitcher helped lead the Tigers to their second straight class 4A championship. In three games at the state tournament, McKelvogue pitched 27 innings while yielding only one earned run, 13 hits and she struck out 25 batters.
