Wizards' Hohlbein making most of his second chance

Aaron Hohlbein always knew he’d get another chance. Even when gimpy hamstrings ripped him from the starting lineup and short-circuited a promising start to his Major League Soccer rookie season, Hohlbein knew he needed to be patient. “If you don’t think an opportunity will come, then you won’t be ready for it when it does,” Hohlbein said with the resolve of a wise, older veteran. Hohlbein is still only 22 (he turns 23 Aug. 16) and just a little more than a year removed from an All-America career at Wisconsin. But he was right.
