KHOU.com staff report FORT BEND COUNTY -- A yearlong ID theft investigation in Fort Bend County resulted in indictments against 38 people on felony charges ranging from first degree felony theft to money laundering. FBCSO Wesley Thomas Dixon, Barbara Maria Guinn and Sequietta Combs Grevious were among the dozens indicted in the ID theft investigation. The investigation centered on hundreds of fraudulent short-term loans, commonly known as “payday loans.” The loans, issued between December 2006 and February 2008, were made via the Internet and direct deposited into bank accounts opened around the Houston Metro area, according to detectives.
