By Andrew Jackson Oryada KAMPALA, July 26 (Xinhua) -- Africa's top seed and the first ever Ugandan badminton player at the Olympics Edwin Ekiring has said he is more than ready to compete with other top players in Beijing next month. Ekiring said although he enters the Beijing Games on a wildcard, he is more than ready to challenge top players from Denmark, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the host of China. Ekiring, who became Africa's top seed last month ahead of Algeria's Nabil Lasmari, told Xinhua in a telephone interview on Friday night from the Netherlands where he was playing in a mini-club tournament that he is more than rearing to go.
