Kovalainen clocks fastest time in testing

JEREZ (Spain): Heikki Kovalainen had the fastest time on Friday to cap a week of Formula One testing ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix. The McLaren driver clocked a fastest lap of 1:18.385 around the 4.423km circuit. Toro Rosso’s Sebastien Bourdais was the only other driver to complete a lap under 1:19.00, trailing the Finn by more than three-tenths of a second. David Coulthard was third with a fastest lap of 1:19.494 in his Red Bull.
