Grains mostly trend up in Chicago Friday

CHICAGO, July 25 (UPI) -- Grains trading tracked up on the Chicago Board of Trade Friday as a federal judged limited a haying proposal for the Conservation Reserve Program. Corn was up 4 1/4 to up 4 3/4, soybeans were up 13 1/4 to up 15 1/2, wheat was up 21 to up 23 1/4 and oats were off 6. A federal ruling Friday limited haying on Conservation Reserve Program lands to 1.8 million acres, short of the 24 million acres proposed in May.
