"It looked like they were excited and ready to go," head coach Andy Reid said of the Eagles' first practice in pads, which took place this morning. "I liked the tempo. Was everything right? No, everything wasn't right. The assignments were right. It's just the techniques that we need to knock some of the rust off." Presumably, more rust will come off this afternoon, but the Eagles hope it's not at the expense of health. The team suffered its first significant injury during the morning session, when All-Pro cornerback Asante Samuel pulled up with a lame right hamstring during the 7-on-7...
