Hurdle ponders Monday's starter

By Patrick Saunders The Denver Post photos of you and your loved ones showing Rockies spirit CINCINNATI — Manager Clint Hurdle hasn't announced who will start for the Rockies Monday in Pittsburgh, but one thing's for sure: It won't be Kip Wells, who gave up eight runs in one-third of an inning in the Rockies' 16-10 loss to the Dodgers last Monday. The most likely scenario has Jason Hirsh moving up from Triple-A Colorado Springs for a one-game start, or until Jeff Francis returns from the disabled list. "(Monday's starter) will not becoming from that clubhouse," Hurdle said this afternoon from Great American Ballpark where the Rockies take on the Reds tonight.
