By SEAN McCANN • Courier-Post Staff • July 26, 2008 BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Asante Samuel didn't even get to the first full-contact drills before becoming first injury concern on the Eagles' 2008 training camp. A large gathering of fans was riled up for its first public view of the team's prize offseason acquisition, but the All-Pro cornerback pulled up lame during 7-on-7 drills. Following the morning practice, head coach Andy Reid reported that Samuel has injured his right hamstring, not the left one that kept him out of all but one day of the Eagles' full-squad Organized Team Activities. "We want him to practice, but if he can't practice, we want him to be healthy," Reid said, adding that he wasn't certain of the severity of the injury.
