Mike Hellgren reports there's new analysis of the stunning revelation that a large grocery store chain paid Currie thousands of dollars as a consultant, money he never disclosed on ethics forms. Federal investigators want to know how much influence Shoppers Food Warehouse had over the actions of state Senator Ulysses Currie. Newly released documents reveal Shoppers and its parent company paid Currie $207,000 over four years. The FBI claims he may have intervened on behalf of the company's stores. One at Mondawmin Mall in Baltimore needed state land while others needed help with liquor licensing and a traffic light.
