KUALA LUMPUR: National shooter Hasli Izwan Amir Hassan has identified the perfect gift that he wants to get for his son’s first birthday. With his son, Hazrey Izuddin, turning one on Aug 14 – the eve of the Beijing Olympic Games shooting competition – the 31-year-old shooter’s perfect gift would be by breaking into the top 10 in the 25m rapid fire pistol event for the first time. “It’s a pity that I will not be around when my second son turns one on Aug 14. But he will certainly be my inspiration when I get into action the following day,” Hasli said after attending the flag-handing ceremony at the Istana Negara yesterday.
