KOTA KINABALU: The option of learning organic farming will soon be offered to Seri Mengasih Centre's intellectually disabled trainees. Towards that end, Shell Malaysia donated RM10,000 yesterday for the construction of a greenhouse next to the centre's well-established recycling workshop in Tanjung Aru, near here. Shell Malaysia Corporate Affairs general manager Datuk Wahiruddin Abdul Wahid, who toured the centre and the proposed organic farm plot, said the energy company had been working pro-actively with non-governmental organisations and government agencies in social, educational and environmental programmes nationwide. He said the sponsorship reflected Shell's dedication to the needs of the centre.
