Bloomberg talks about infrastructure, not endorsement, in Twin Cities visit

For the second time this week, a John McCain rumor balloon popped Friday when New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg said he hadn't yet decided whom to endorse for president. Republican sources had been buzzing that Bloomberg would "talk up," if not flat-out endorse McCain during a visit to the Twin Cities. The buzz came just two days after another rumor that McCain might choose his running mate this week fizzled, as well. Bloomberg, an Independent who broke away from the Republican Party a year ago after spending most of his life as a Democrat, attended a fundraiser in Minneapolis for the Minnesota Independence Party.
