Meet on conservation of lakes ends

HYDERABAD: A four-day international workshop on conservation of lakes concluded in the city on Friday with a declaration on ways to restore Hussainsagar lake. Among others, it suggested treatment of all sewage entering the lake, development of shoreline with buffer zone through reed belt growth, compliance of industrial effluent discharge standards and not allowing any solid waste entering under any circumstances.
