The 7-year-old gelding Commentator is still the horse to beat at the $750,000 Whitney Handicap on Saturday at Saratoga Race Course. The Nick Zito-trained veteran is the favorite, even if he's lost a step or two. Zito compares Commentator to former heavyweight boxer George Foreman, whose many comebacks extended far beyond his prime. "He gets older but keeps coming up at a high level," Zito said. "He has his issues, but we have learned to space out his races and give him the time he needs. When he gets the time he needs, he usually comes up with his race."
