Tired of watching bad Padres baseball? Well, take a break today -- the Padres game in Pittsburgh is not being televised. Channel 4 San Diego dropped the game from its schedule several weeks ago. It still will be broadcast on the radio over AM-1090 and FM-105.7 and Spanish-language AM-860 beginning at 4:05 p.m. Catcher Josh Bard is expected to be in the Padres lineup for the first time since suffering a high ankle sprain May 21 in a home plate collision with the Cardinals' Albert Pujols. Going into today's game, the Padres are 1-7 on the 11-game road trip that opened the post-All-Star Game portion of their season. Going back, they have lost 12 of their past 15 games and are 8-27 since June 12. Believe it or not, the Padres' 15-35 road record is not the worst in baseball -- or even the NL West.
