TOPEKA, Kan. - Gov. Kathleen Sebelius says the Kansas aviation industry remains well-positioned in the global market. Fresh off a trip to the Farnborough International Air Show outside London, Sebelius said Friday that the state's efforts to strengthen its aviation industry have paid off. She said manufacturers and suppliers from the state expect to do billions of dollars of business. However, Sebelius said competition for the aviation jobs already in Kansas will continue to be tough. She also said state officials need to have all the financial tools possible to recruit and retain firms.
