The Prince Albert Daily Herald The 33-year-old man who jumped into the North Saskatchewan River Wednesday night had his case heard in provincial court Thursday morning. Timothy Turner is charged with two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and one charge of resisting or obstructing a police officer. Turner was remanded to custody for a bail hearing July 30. At 8:35 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to the 100 block of 11th St W for a report of a man wielding a knife. They spotted someone fitting the description of the man on First Avenue West. He ran from police and jumped into the river.
