By Our Special Correspondent New Delhi July 25: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) on Friday approached the office of the Lok Sabha Speaker, seeking the disqualification of party rebel MP Ale Narendra, for defying the party whip to vote against the trust vote. TRS chief whip B. Vinod Kumar cited the Supreme Court ruling in the case of G. Vishwanatham versus Tamil Nadu Assembly Speaker that an MP or MLA, whether suspended or expelled from the party, is still bound by party discipline, as he is elected on the party symbol. In his letter to the Speaker, Mr Vinod Kumar demanded that Mr Narendra should be expelled from the Lok Sabha as he violated the party directive to cast his vote against the government.
