Ramanarayana Reddy has said that the State government has decided to fund the much-delayed Southern Splendour circular train project connecting important tourist destinations in South India and Orissa. Initially, it was to be co-funded by the States and the Centre, but due to changes in guidelines of the Indian Railways, the government alone would bear the entire capital investment of Rs. 50 crore, he told reporters after inaugurating the 63rd Travel and Tourism Fair here on Friday.
