Chez Reavie birdied four of his first nine holes to separate himself from the crowd of contenders as second-round play opened Friday at the RBC Canadian Open in Oakville, Ont. The 26-year-old from Wichita, Kan., also made a bogey and was at nine under par when he made the turn. Reavie also made hay on the front nine on Thursday, making four of his six birdies there as he shot a six-under 65 to put him into a seven-way tie after the first round, which was completed early Friday because of weather. In fact, Reavie birdied three of the same holes at Glen Abbey, Nos. 4, 6 and 9.
