Saskatoon Will Remember the Korean War with Federal Support

SASKATOON, SASKATCHEWAN - (Marketwire - July 25, 2008) - The Korea Veterans Association of Canada Unit #46 will hold a ceremony commemorating the 55th anniversary of the Korean War Armistice with Government of Canada support. On behalf of the Honourable Greg Thompson, Minister of Veterans Affairs, Brad Trost, Member of Parliament for Saskatoon-Humboldt, announced today a contribution to the Korea Veterans Association of Canada Unit #46. Funding of up to $1,550, provided through Veterans Affairs Canada's Community Engagement Partnership Fund, will support a ceremony on July 27 commemorating the 55th anniversary of the Korean War Armistice.
