Former All Creatures Director arrested

MIKE DIRKS/TIMES-NEWS The former director of All Creatures Great and Small was arrested Thursday, police records say. Kimberly Kappler, 51, of Greenville Highway, was charged with failing to vaccinate animals. Kappler was not held in the jail, but released after being served the arrest warrants, jail officials said. Henderson County Sheriff’s deputies charged Kappler with seven counts of failing to have current rabies vaccinations on animals found at her home. Henderson County Sheriff’s Office Animal Enforcement confiscated 44 animals at the home, located at 2731 Greenville Highway, late Tuesday after receiving several complaints of odor and barking dogs.
