Pedestrian killed by train in Belleville

BELLEVILLE, Ill. - Belleville police are investigating the death of a man killed when he was hit by a train. Investigators say the accident happened about 12:30 a.m. Friday, near the city's Citizens Park. Police say the victim killed by the Norfolk Southern train was in his 40s.
