Davidson feigned surrender before shootings

Davidson was sentenced to 21 months in the federal prison work camp in Florence and began serving his term in May. He pleaded guilty to tax evasion. Eddie Davidson lured his wife and children to their deaths on Thursday by promising that he just wanted a ride to turn himself in after escaping from a federal work camp, according to an Arapahoe Sheriff's Office report. But when Amy Lee Ann McDaniel, also known as Amy Hill, arrived at a Home Depot at Smoky Hill and Gun Club Road, McDaniel pushed her out of the driver's seat of the Toyota SUV and started to drive toward their former home in Bennett.
