BRISTOL, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Library Company of Burlington receives a Community Partnership Initiative (CPI) Impact Award from the Rohm and Haas Bristol Site for a new high-tech Homework Center for the community’s students. The $5,000 CPI Impact Award was created to celebrate Rohm and Haas’s 10th CPI Anniversary. Through the program, Rohm and Haas has contributed $2.1 million to approximately 46 community organizations, including $300,000 in grants provided by the Rohm and Haas Bristol Site to Bristol-area organizations. The Library Company of Burlington received one of the CPI grants in 2004. The organization used the grant to create the Homework to Hangout program, which established a technology center with 12 computer workstations and accompanying software geared to teens.
