Bonnie Epps, you're a stronger woman than I am; I would have broken down right there in the middle of the airport. For those who haven't read yet, Epps, a retired art teacher at Smithton, missed her trip to Italy this week because an airline worker misplaced her passport. The Trib's T.J. Greaney wrote about the incident in his column yesterday. Greaney writes: Bonnie Epps should have spent yesterday aboard a gondola in Venice. Today, she should be in Florence marveling at Michelangelo’s "David." Later this week she planned to cross Assisi, Sorrento and Pompei off her lifetime "must-see list." For Epps, a retired art teacher who taught at Smithton Middle School and other local schools for 30 years, this was supposed to be the trip of a lifetime. Except it never happened.
