Manchester United provide base for my 2008-09 Fantasy Football side but there's a gamble in attack. Edwin van der Sar £3.9 m Big Edwin is, for me, the obvious pick between the sticks. He’s an integral part of the meanest defence in English football. Edwin has been there, seen and done it all, and after a solid European Championships for the Dutch he’ll be keen to make sure United have another great season. Alan Hutton £3.5 m Spurs were disappointing at the back last season, but manager Juande Ramos has a track record of success, and rest assured that he’ll tighten things up. Hutton is brilliant going forward, and once he’s settled into English football he’ll be a revelation.
