FREEHOLD --Michael Lisa, the 25-year-old Howell man whose indictment on charges of reckless manslaughter was fought all the way to the state Supreme Court, pleaded guilty Thursday to aggravated assault and methadone distribution as part of a deal with prosecutors. The action before Superior Court Judge Edward M. Neafsey, laid to rest a case that has been traveling through the courts since a grand jury in 2005 returned indictments against him for reckless manslaughter and methadone distribution.
