Regulatory News: AREVA's (Paris:CEI) Transmission and Distribution Division (T&D) India Ltd. has been awarded a contract worth approximately 40 million euros with LARSEN&TOUBRO Limited - ECC Division*, for the supply of a substation package for Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. This contract is one of the biggest recently to be awarded in the Indian Power Distribution industry. AREVA will design and manufacture a 66 kV substation which will supply the new Terminal-3, currently in construction to serve the Commonwealth Games planned in Delhi for 2010. This project is of the utmost importance for the city.
