The words-per-sentence statistic was no doubt jinked by that long-ass list of topics to be avoided in polite conversation, though. So a more sophisticated tool probably wouldn't have scored me as highly. Anyway, I'm not campaigning for Professor Munger. As we can see, I have a tin ear for messaging to the general public. (I've come to think I have only two modes of rhetoric: earnest academese, and filthy jokes.)
