Foreign nationals camping on the side of the R28 highway in Krugersdorp on the West Rand will be arrested if they do not move out of the area by Monday. The foreigners, who have been living on the road since Tuesday, were forced out of Glenanda temporary shelter when they refused to register for exemption certificates. Public safety manager Jorrie Jordan says the foreigners have refused to be moved to safety centers. He says they now have no option but to arrest them for breaking the public safety laws. The foreigners say they are not going anywhere. Jordan says the displaced foreign nationals are also demanding to be taken to Botswana.
