Heikki Kovalainen ended this week's test at Jerez in Spain with the fastest time on Friday, as his McLaren team continued evaluation of the nose horn wings that appeared for the first time. The Finn ran the nose wings for most of the day, but set his best time of 1:18.385 during one of the runs he completed without them - albeit in the cooler morning conditions. His McLaren team remain undecided on if the wings will be used for next weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix. Sebastien Bourdais kept up the strong week-long pace of Red Bull machinery with the second fastest time in his Scuderia Toro Rosso, with his fastest lap being set on slick tyres.
