Tim Redding pitched a damn good game yesterday. Granted it was in a pitcher’s park against a team who could switch uniforms with the Nats and we wouldn’t notice an offensive difference, but still you can’t ask for more than 8 innings of 1 run ball. It’s looking more and more like his career will read - 2003 - Solid pitcher 2004 & 2005 - Injured 2006 on - Solid Pitcher With that in mind, he’d be a reasonable low-rent solution for a team looking for back of the rotation help. Now, of course it’s a given Bowden will ask for everyone’s top 3 prospects and a suitcase full of gold for him so he’ll still be here come year’s end, but the question is should he be traded?
