Joe Mauer Air Force Ones

My love of the Milwaukee Brewers makes it difficult for me to cheer for anyone from the Minnesota Twins. The rivalry between the Brewers and Twins goes back to a time when both teams were battling in the American League. The Air Force Ones shown in this post belong to Twins All-Star catcher Joe Maeur. I may not like Mauer as a player but I certainly respect his taste in shoes. Mauer approached JGoods Custom Sneakers about producing a one-off Air Force One honoring his achievements. JGoods produced a shoe that could serve as a template for other players seeking custom sneakers. The insole features Mauer’s number 7 as well as the Twins logo.
