Football star Philippe Mexes has been reunited with his baby daughter after she was kidnapped during a carjacking. Philippe Mexes Roma's French defender was held up at gunpoint by robbers who then sped off in his Mercedes. The player's two-year-old daughter, Eva, was still sleeping inside the car. The vehicle was later abandoned with the little girl sleeping inside. Mexes and his partner Carla had just arrived back at their luxury home in the Axa-Casal Palocco district between Rome and the ancient port city of Ostia when they were confronted by two armed men, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. Mexes, who has been at Roma since 2004, had a gun pointed to his head and a scuffle broke out before the armed men made off with his SUV Mercedes.
