Alan Shadrake in Singapore and Glenda Kwek THREE new drug charges laid against the ABC journalist Peter Lloyd in Singapore include one count of possessing utensils that carried traces of the veterinary drug ketamine. Nicknamed Special K, ketamine is used as a recreational drug for its psychedelic or hallucinogenic effects. The other two new charges against Lloyd are methamphetamine consumption without authorisation, and possessing utensils that carried traces of methamphetamine, a charge sheet shows. The most serious charge - consuming methamphetamine, which is also known as ice - carries a maximum sentence of 10 years' imprisonment or a $20,000 fine, or both.
