Gov. Charlie Crist celebrated his 52nd birthday on Thursday. He got cake. The Republican party of Florida got dough. Crist's day began in his Miami branch office and moved to Palm Beach, where a birthday celebration took place at The Breakers. The guests in the Magnolia Room included a handful of legislators who — judging from the $5,200 per person ducat — really, really like cake. Proceeds will help the state GOP defray election...
