(AP) -- Democrat Bruce Lunsford tried to turn up the heat in the debate on energy policy, accusing Sen. Mitch McConnell of misleading the public by emphasizing expanded oil drilling when consumers are looking for quick relief from high gas prices. "You can't solve the problem right now with drilling," Lunsford said in an interview Thursday. Lunsford, who is challenging McConnell in the November election, also said the incumbent was overlooking Kentucky coal as part of the solution to wean the country off foreign oil.
