The company has a number of high-value domains across various registrars (NetSol, GoDaddy, Enom, Yahoo) and is looking to consolidate. Their Enom account was recently broken into (either a break-in on Enom's side or someone planted a Trojan on one of their computers; no idea) and they have asked me to give my opinion as to which domain registrar is safest. I've variously heard bad things about GoDaddy and Network Solutions, and Enom is obviously suspect after the break-in. I've been googling this issue for a little bit, and I can't find a single popular (high-volume) domain registrar that is positioned as the Rackspace of the Domain Registrar industry: we'll take extra, but we'll pick up your call right...
