Two Staffordshire gardens have earned gold awards at the RHS Tatton Park Flower Show. Newcastle Borough Council took a gold for its tribute to Sgt Fred Kite, who was given the Military Medal three times during the World War II. The council took the award in the National Flower Bed category.
