Animal House Turns 30 - A Video Appreciation

This coming Sunday July 27th will mark an epochal anniversary in American popular culture as we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the premiere of John Landis's hilarious movie of college fraternity life, Animal House. Shot on a miniscule budget, it would become the then leading box office comedy of all time with a script written by Chris Miller ("Hardbar") and Doug Kenney ("Stork"), then National Lampoon contributors based on their college experiences at Dartmouth and Harvard, with additional writing by Harold Ramis of Stripes and Ghostbusters fame.
